MMJPay is founded by a team of payment processing and cannabis industry leaders who have been working with small businesses to large enterprise companies for the past 20 years. Our processing expertise includes high risk credit card processing, merchant bank accounts, ATM’s, eCommerce, ACH, and mobile payments.
Christopher Herghelegiu
Chris has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur in various industries. A successful cannabis and hemp investor and entrepreneur, Chris is a co-founder of A.T.A.C.H., the American trade association for cannabis and hemp.
Chris founded MMJPAY, a financial services firm for the cannabis industry. In addition, Chris has been featured as a shark on The Marijuana Show, where he critiqued and invested in early-stage companies and has held C-level executive roles in many companies, including American Patriot Brands and KEEFCOLA, the first cannabis-infused beverage in the market.
Prior to investing in the cannabis industry, Chris launched many other successful endeavors including the Absolute Home Mortgage Corporation, where he originated over $3 billion in mortgage originations over the 15 years.
Hudson abstract which has for over a decade supported many Northeastern Lenders and Tavris LLC which to this day has consulted companies from Medical, aerospace and Defense to International marketing and sales companies.

Mark Garfinkel
Mark combines an extensive background in investment management and the payment processing industry. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA and MBA. Mark co-founded a successful investment advisory firm in Atlanta, GA, where he was the Chief Investment Officer and Lead Portfolio Manager for the the company’s flagship Smallcap Growth Portfolio.
Within the payments space, Mark has nearly 7 years of experience in high risk payment processing and has specialized in the Cannabis and CBD space for the last 3 to 4 years.
Mark brings a unique background to the MMJPay team that complements the skills and experience of his partners.
Bryce Davis
Bryce has over 15 years of experience calling on all sizes of organizations. Successful track record of selling into organizations ranging from $10M in annual revenues all the way to Fortune 25 companies. The most recent experience includes success selling into a number of Fortune 500 entities and developing significant contacts and referral networks that continue to drive a multitude of opportunities into the largest publically traded companies in the U.S. Key verticals of selling include; telecomm, large retail, healthcare, insurance, lending, financial institutions, and a number of others. Experience includes building relationships with and calling on C-Suite, executive leadership, and senior management in a number of key areas including: treasury, risk, accounting, IT, partner development, product, and others.
